How do I know what’s wrong with my sauna?
If your sauna’s power is not turning on and you have verified that power is going to your power supply, 95% of the time you have a bad power supply or controller. Most sauna power supplies will always go bad, it’s just a matter of when. It’s generally the power relays or heater relays that fail due to most being electronic and very low quality to begin with. For example, the relays on our power supply cost $4.33, a typical relay used by most sauna brands costs $0.29. Unfortunately, if you were to swap out the bad relay the damage has already been done on other parts of the circuit board.  We repaired sauna parts for over 10 years before we started offering a universal kit.  We learned repairing sauna parts caused a never ending cycle of repair after repair causing everyone involved way too much frustration.    

If your controller isn’t turning on and you have power there’s a failure in your power supply. If Fix My Sauna diagnosed every sauna part that came in, 95% would be advised to purchase an upgrade kit. 

Only one of my components (power supply or controller is bad) why do I need a whole kit?
Almost all sauna brands that sold saunas have proprietary parts. Meaning, you can’t just add one of our controllers to your power supply, it wouldn’t work. Also, once you have a failure in either your power supply or controller, replacing the faulty part will only bandaid your sauna, eventually it will fail again. We saw this all the time when Fix My Sauna repaired parts. 

How do I know if my heaters are bad?
Heaters in saunas are what we call dumb electronics. They are either on or off. If your sauna’s heaters were working the last time it was functional, the chances of them being bad is slim to none.  If you happen to have a short in one of your heaters our universal power supply has a built in breaker that will pop before it damages anything.  If this happens, we have a quick continuity test you can perform on each heater to find out if there’s a failure.  In the case there is a failure, we have a wide selection of replacement heaters. 

What if my handyman or electrician runs into problems?
No problem. This rarely happens. If it does, generally it can be answered by our technician with a simple text. Fix My Sauna has a very informative installation video that’s very easy to understand. Sauna kits are wired with 120v and 12v wiring, very easy for anyone with common electrical knowledge.  We offer support but we can not walk you through every connection.  This is a DIY sauna kit that is priced accordingly. 

How does your warranty work?
We offer a 10 year warranty. We have been servicing saunas for some of the largest sauna brands for the last 20 years. The power supply and controller we have engineered surpasses the quality of the sauna brands still in business today. If you have a warranty claim we replace the component that’s bad, we will never make you send it in for a repair. Now that you have all our parts installed its as easy as sending us an email and us sending you the part.

Do you sell other sauna parts?
Yes we do.  We have launched a new website for 2023 to go with our upgraded universal sauna kit.  We will be adding infrared heaters and sauna accessories in the near future.  

Why shouldn’t I just purchase a new sauna?
You absolutely can. But a quality sauna will cost you between $4,000 and $8,000. If you purchase a sub $2,500 sauna just go into knowing that the likelihood of it failing within the first 2 years is high. Also, go into knowing that many sauna brands offer a lifetime warranty only to fight you every step of the way and make you pay ridiculous shipping and processing fees. Many brands charge as much as $400 just to process and send you replacement parts.  Unfair? Yes. But it happens everyday.

Most of our customers have a great wood cabin and heaters that work very well. So spending a fraction of the cost to get all new components is a more financially sound decision.

Do you have reviews?
Yes we do.  However, there was a time where the original owner stepped away and handed the company off to focus on other projects (see the dates on reviews).  There were temporary issues because at that time we only repaired sauna parts and the individual that took over the Fix My Sauna brand wasn’t ready for such a task.  Everything is back to normal now and all those positive reviews are flowing back in.  Text us, you will find out very quickly we know a lot about sauna parts and everyone involved is highly trained to answer your questions.
